Hello everybody, I've found a very interesting service - http://www.flashphone.ru wich allows to make calls from web page trough flash.... Anybody knows how they did that? Anyway very cool idea

Flash already has network connections to communicate between different .swf movies.

If anyone is interested in this type of technology get in touch with me as a client of mine is about to launch something very similar.

 

FYI I used to work for a company that did something exactly the same using Asterisk and Java from the UK called Mexuar (if you’ve never come across asterisk the open source ip-pabx technology before check out www.cognation.net/asterisk for a 60 second overview).

Haven't really tested the quality but it's darn cool in my

Btw I just remembered there was a video presentation of the
Mexuar
launch at NY tech meetup in front of about 500 people last
year in case
you're interested.

Like I said though this was java based - the new company is
using Flash
and SIP.
