Hi I thinks there is not already a .deb package for the
trunk version,
but I installed following the guide of the red5 on eclipse,
http://njoubert.blogspot.com/20
07/07/setting-up-eclipse-for-red5-development.html
I follow and mixed some tutorials and could compile the
trunk so I
could run the 0.7 version. Unfortunatelly I did not
documented the
process but if you want, i can help you and both you an me
can create
that new guide. Basically what I remember was:
- First set up my eclipse. 3.3+WTP+SubVersion plugin and I
think I
installed springIde also, but that is optionally.
- Then download the trunk with the subversion plugin of
eclipse
- Then run the ant tool (1.7 it comes with the eclipse
package) and it
downloads all the dependencies and finally it creates in the
"dist"
folder the compiled and ready to use red5 0.7.
- Finally i just erased the old one and place the new files
and is
working pretty well.
