Hi,
I send this to Dev list because no one but developers team
could answer
to this better
I've just finished a Red5 project that includes video
streams
broadcasting (live streams). I found out that quality of the
streamed
video is quite bad if you compare it to what camera utility
shows.
I tried with 99% quality and 999999 bandwidth at localhost
but it
doesn't help.
The video quality is critical for me in this project, is
there a way to
improve it?
One more thing, I don't know if it's the way it has to be
but if I
stream two live streams from clients and use the same name
the video at
the receiving side is an ugly mix. Never tried to do that
with FMS, is
it the way it has to be? IMO it would be better to reject
stream
broadcast and invoke a handler at client side in this case
because it's
gonna break an existing stream with the same name.
I'm really looking forward to your help with this live
streams quality
issue, thanks!
BTW, any news on dev meeting next week?
