T60P RHEL5 Suspend to Disk

Hi,
anyone have any advice what information I need to get RedHat
to help 
debug/fix the RHEL5 suspend to disk issues on a T60p i.e.
ideas how to 
capture the data/errors when I suspend to disk, I have no
serial port 
and netconsole does not  stay up long enough to capture
data.
Interesting enough the issues on a T60p (duo core/sata
drive) are solved 
in the FC6 2.6.20-1.2933.fc6 kernel (running it just now on
RHEL5).

Just need some guidance please.
