question:liberty library not found

Hi,

Anyone solves this similar problem:

While installing oprofile on RHEL5, I got the following
error:

checking libiberty.h usability... no
checking libiberty.h presence... no
checking for libiberty.h... no
checking for cplus_demangle in -liberty... no
configure: error: liberty library not found

This list is dead since RHEL5 has been released for some
time now.
Check out rhelv5-listredhat.com instead.

Another point, why not just install the oprofile binary that
comes with
RHEL5?
