KDE cdrom distributors ??? please help

hi all,

i installed fedora core 5 in my pc and found that it doesnt
have kde.
it has only gnome. where do i get kde cdrom?. i cant
download kde as
its too big file to download. are there any distributors in
india ?

How much CDs do you have? if 5 there must be KDE on it.SOL

hi,

i have the 5 CD fedora core 5 linux setups.

i tried to do upgrade of fedora. expecting

custom softwares install. so i thought of selecting KDE.

but when i clicked upgrade. it started to install gcc

lib...etc,etc.

it was installing from the 1st CD. i did not get any

custom install menu. so i aborted.

what do i do? i did not get any menu which said 'custom
install'.

please give ur advice.

please help me.

hi,

You made a mistake. KDE is, in fact, an option when you
first install.
If you didn't see it, then you should have looked closer.

You cannot expect an "upgrade" of a package that
you never installed in
the first place.

Simply put: You made a mistake. Do your install again and
get with the
program.

RIGHT SAID.. KDE is there... I have installed FC5 with KDE as thats my Favourite.. GNOME does look cool but KDE just Rocks...
