I am now trying to run a computer with 64 MB or RAM and a
750 Mhz
processor. Any ideas on what distro to put on it?

750 is pretty fast for an olde computer. You have no excuse
for not
upgrading the RAM. A quick look at ebay will show that you
can double
the RAM for $5 and jump to 256M for about $20.

Then, I would suggest Fedora Core 5.

Without the RAM as the previous response stated, you might
try a BSD
distribution as they tend to be smaller and some have a lot
of features
packed into a very small footprint. If you add more RAM
Fedora is a
good option for beginners but uses more HDD size. Debian
has lots of
support on the web (google will be your best friend), but
can be a
little difficult for beginners to install and maintain.

If u do not plan to use graphics withthat small amount of RAM, u may try any distro u like. U may try some of the alternative Desktop Environments to use graphics on the machine later. Try a look at the Afterstep or the Windowmaker Environment. I had used that on a machine that was a Pentium 120MHz(not even an MMX) with a mere 8MB RAM, but that was years ago when RedHat 6.0 was just released.
