I have been on 10 mg daily for about a month and a half, and I think it has helped my stinging a little. I have had no weight gain, or any real side effects since starting. Remember, most of the people that bother posting on the internet on sites like askapatient are people that are searching for help because they had negative experiences with a certain medicine. Not everybody has bad reactions, and sometimes it helps people a lot.

What dosages were you all on? I'm devastated. Reactine is Zyrtec
here in Canada and it's been helping my migraines but these posts
would explain my weight gain as well as a couple other things. I just
pulled my cetirizine monograph out and there's no mention of the
symptoms mentioned here or on the askapatient website.

Thanks for posting, Pete. I've been on 20 mg a day. I think I'll
drop down to 10 mg.
