Hi,
I was diagnosed with rosacea this year. I probably have had it for a
while, but didn't know what it was. Sometimes my cheeks and nose are
flushed and other times they don't look so bad. I finally had it
checked out and the doctor said rosacea.
Right now, the ruddy appearance is the only symptom I have. I am trying
to decide if I should just leave it as is or do something about it. I
don't like the idea of long term medications. I'm considering the laser
treatment, but don't know much about it. My doctor said my rosacea may
not get any worse, or it might be a few years before it does.
So, I'd like to find out the pros and cons of laser treatment, and hope
you will share your experiences with laser. I have extremely fair skin
that is somewhat oily.
Please let me know if you were satisfied with the results of laser
treatment. Why or why not? Does laser work better on some types/tints
of skin that others? Does age matter (I am almost 50)?
Thank you.
