Here's a question... I just had my first bout with rosacea. I had a bout with gout a year
ago. Changed to an alkaline diet and haven't had a relapse, but I have been plagued with
on and off allergies (and now the rosacea), so I thought this may be all related somehow
to my immune response. In my researching, I found Leaky Gut Syndrome (see links below).
The curious thing about it, is that even though they don't specifically mention gout or
rosacea (but does mention eczema and psoriasis), in the laundry list of associated
diseases, it may fit. I say this because, more than 70% of your immune system is in how
well the digestive system is working. If you are not digesting nutrients and minerals
correctly, your immune system goes haywire. With added probiotics, enzymes and HCL. I
think I may have solved my rosacea and allergies as well as found the culprit behind my
gout. I just started a HCL, probiotic and enzyme regime three days ago and see noticeable,
ongoing improvement. BTW, this began with menopause and a few years of chronic stress.
Just a thought for those of you with multiple unsolved problems, which may be related to
immune issues. (Please note: I am not a doctor, and this is just a suggestion of something
to consider. when nothing else works) Best, Michele
