Aspirin masks might help some, if left on only briefly and used infrequently. However, hydrocortisone is a steroid, and they can cause very serious damage to the skin.
It is sometimes recommended that people, even rosaceans, use mild steroid creams in emergency situations, but then only for a few days, and perhaps only once or twice a year, and under the supervision of a doctor. That's how risky steroids are. :(
