Hi Linda:

#1: No extra mineral oil needed to moisturize. You may find that
adding some afterwards will make your face too shiny or heavy feeling.
I'm still surprised that my skin feels so moisturized and soft..not
dry at all, simply by doing this. Also, my hands are a lot softer from
the oil getting on them while I cleanse..

#2: Mineral oil gets everything off - makeup, dirt, titanium dioxide,
zinc...everything - as long as you apply it to a dry face in circular
motions with your fingertips for about thirty seconds, then gently
wipe with a DRY soft cloth (like the microfiber cloth) that has a
little oil on it to reduce friction even further).

I wish I had known about this a long time ago. I think you may be
surprised at how well it cleans your face. (You may have heard it
commonly recommended for removing eye makeup.) I use Unifiance
concealer: http://www.beautyplatinium.com/product_p/lrpuncf.htm

#3: I often just wear a hat instead of sunscreen, but if I'm going to
really be out in the direct sun all day, I pat on a small amount of
plain zinc oxide ointment from the drugstore. I look for the very
basic one with only a few ingredients - light mineral oil, wax, zinc
oxide, maybe petrolatum.. No fragrance or other ingredients. It has a
high percentage of the zinc, so only a little is needed and it really
blocks the sun quite well. Mineral oil takes this off very easily.

I hope you do well with it. Let us know, good or bad

Hi

do you use any of the products from skinactives ? IIRC, you were using
licorice, and other anti-inflammatory stuff?

Off to write down the procedure and pin it to my bathroom mirror.

Take care
Linda
