Possibly a case for a future release? Having the ability to
specify
priority would be great for customising.
I could implement it currently but it would mean rebuilding
the package
and would rather not have a branch.

The idea will certainly be lost if there's not either an
immediate  
patch or a feature request added to the project tracker.
