I have some people who want to interview me, and I know
I'll be asked
about ruby-doc.org. There seem to be at least a few people
who
misunderstand what I contribute to the documentation
process, and I want
to be sure that all the people doing the hard stuff get
recognized.
I also think a credits page on ruby-doc.org would be nice.
I know that the bulk of the Ruby API docs was written by
Dave Thomas,
but I don't want to be guessing about the current state.
I believe that Ryan Davis and Eric Hodel are now the owners
of the
rdoc/ri code.
Who are the folks writing docs? And who else deserves
credit for one
thing or another related to ruby-doc.org or the doc process?
(Aside
from authors of standalone content on the site; the names
are attached
to the items, unlike most rdoc stuff.)
Thanks,
James Britt
