php application inside rails public directory?

Hi all,
I need to install cerberus inside my rails app's public
directory... I 
agree that the best method would be to put the whole php app
in it's own 
subdomain, but for now (i'm just testing) that's not
possible...
What would be the way to do that?

yes... I finally desisted that idea and used another
subdomain
