Invitiation for the Visualization Populi

Greetings Vox Populi of Visualization,

 

We are very much looking forward to seeing all SIG VIS members at the upcoming ASIS&T national conference in Austin November 3-8, 2006. ; The conference is themed “Information Realities: Shaping the Digital Future For All”.  There will be a couple very interesting SIGVIS panels organized on Search Result Visualization and Image Retrieval Methodologies for Test Collections and a great conference program. On Monday, November 6, 2006 we will be meeting with the SIGVIS panelists in the lobby of the Hilton and you are invited to join us for the SIGVIS members dinner bash.  We’ve made reservations at a wonderful local Austin Haunt called Moonshine in walking distance of the Hotel.  Come meet us at 5:45 in the lobby as we’d love to see you for a great night of conversation and ideas. It will be a great night of networking, discussion, rekindling of old friendships and perhaps the opportunity to make a few new friends.  We’ve been busy organizing details now and are very much hoping to see you there!  Please join us.
