pthreads problem - silc-toolkit-1.1

Software: silc-toolkit-1.1
Operating System: Linux 2.4.20
Installation: source

Hi: I am trying to update to Silc-Toolkit 1.1 from an older
version (which compiled without difficulties). Compilation
for release 1.1 fails, except when pthreads is disabled. I
believe the problem is with my older glibc (I have 2.9). The
error is:
/scratch/silc-toolkit-1.1/lib/silcutil/silctime.h: In
function `silc_usleep':
/scratch/silc-toolkit-1.1/lib/silcutil/silctime.h:297:
storage size of `tv' isn' t known
...

Would it be possible to maintain backwards compatibility (as
before version 1.1)?

Thanks for reporting this.  Would you send me your
/usr/include/time.h 
file so I can check why it doesn't include the timespec on
your system but 
does include it on newer glibc's.  Thanks.
