I've made the utility I wrote for capturing a sip audio stream available at http://code.google.com/p/sip-audio-capture/
It is based on the old sip-communicator code with some changes in the net.java.sip.communicator.media package to allow audio capture.  I wrote a thin API over the sip-communicator code to allow capture to be done via command line. ; The output can go either to a file or stdout.  I was able to use this to stream sip audio from an asterisk meetme conference using icecast.

Congratulations for your new project Eric,

I very much like the conf record use case. I was thinking
that it would
be quite nice to have such a feature in SC 1.0. It would be
useful to be
able and record any conversation.

I wonder how easy it would be to integrate your work as an
OSGI bundle
for the new project.
