hi guys !
we would like to add a graphical calendar component to our
"extended
call history search".
We found 2 libs on the internet :
- JCalendar (http://www.toedt
er.com/en/jcalendar/)
- swingx (https://swingx.dev.java.
net/).
we are hesitating between the two of them. So, we need your
help to
choose the good one .
if any of you has already used one of them, let us know.
thanks
Maxime
Thomas

When you add the calendar GUI, would you please include an
API so other
S-C code can call it for managing other date data? That GUI
will be even
more useful for other calendar displays, especially once
someone
includes iCal/vCal data/protocol components in the app.
Thanks.

Sure, we can do this.
Thanks for the suggestion.

We've been talking about this offline with Max, and Thomas,
but I
thought I'd post an update for the record:
So basically, what we decided is that even though swingx
looks very well
, provides excellent usability, and is quite stable, we'd
better use Kai
Toedter's JCalendar since it fits in a very compact archive
while swingx
is more than a MB (approx. 1.3 MB iirc), and besides it's
LGPL and also
looks quite nice!
Cheers
