Hi Emil, all,
I've done a little more digging and found some interesting
things
about that nasty white window bug. See inline:

html renderer.

I don't know if it's necessarily the Swing HTML renderer. As
I told
you off-list, the reason for which I couldn't reproduce the
bug was
that I worked on a rather old version of the code. As soon
as I
updated, the bug appeared with no way whatsoever to
circumvene it.

I started digging through the nightly snapshots archives
until I found
one that worked as supposed. It was
htt

municator-src-1.0-alpha2-nightly.build.721.zip
. It seems something has happened to the code for the
ChatConversationPanel between the 1.8 release which
contained my patch
for correct handling of "text/html" and the latest
release (1.11). For
the moment all I can tell is that simply reverting to an
older version
of the file fixes the issue, but I'm sure that's by no means
an
acceptable solution.

I'll start looking into it and will send a patch as soon as
I'll be
able to fix things.

It's fixed in the patch I sent a few days ago ;)

All the best,
Mihai

PS: It seems some archives (I couldn't tell how many, I had
problems
with at least 2) here at
http://sip-communicator.org/download/nightly-builds/src/
 are corrupted
(namely 719, 720).
