	How can there be a memory leak in a Java app, unless it's
triggering a
bug in the JVM? Or is the SIP stack in native code?

Well, there can be a leak in long running applications that
hold
references from Hashtables and such. If you notice a leak, I
would
need  a small self contained example to try to debug it.
