Implementation of encryption key sharing Algorithms

My name is Nithin Kumar Dara doing my masters at IIT Bombay, India.
My interests includes Networking, Mobile Development. network security..

I am presently doing some reseach on Measurement Analysis of 802.11 a/n.

I have done a course in Network Security and gained knowledge about Authentication, Authorization protocols and Encryption protocols. I had learned them all in pure theoretical sense. I am quite enthusiastic about how these protocols are actually implemented and where they are used in a real world.. After looking into SIP project proposals I found this topic would suffice my curiosity about the Working of Network security protocols.

Iam want to know more about the project, and want to know what are the prerequisites for this project and   the basis of  selecting students

Thanks and Regards,
Nithin Kumar Dara,
Mtech 2nd Year Student
System Administrator for CSE dept.

Hi, I'm interested in working on an IAX2 implementation for
SIP
Communicator during the Google Summer of Code.

I use Asterisk personally, and am disappointed in the lack
of clients
that support IAX2. I currently use 'Zoiper', but would
rather see an
open source solution.

Can someone point me to a page that outlines the tools /
editors which
developers here are using? I was able to get the sources
using
Subversion, but I am unfamiliar with the procedure to build
the code
base. Thanks very much.

Hey Windsor,

I apologise for the lag but better late than never, right

You are very welcome to apply for our GSoC IAX
implementation. You can
do so through the program web application:

htt
p://code.google.com/soc/2008/student_home.html

We also use Asterisk a lot and that's why we would like to
have support
for IAX.

As for documentation you can find most of what you need in
here:

http://www.sip-communicator.org/in
dex.php/Documentation/DeveloperDocumentation

Hope this helps!

Cheers and good luck!
Emil
