While using the sip communicator with icq it is possible to
receive messages
from contacts not in your contact list. Such contacts are
shown in a special non
persistent group called NotInContactList. 
The problem is that if a SC user receives messages from more
than one contacts
not on their contact list, the SC creates a NotInContactList
group for every one
of them. 
In addition to that the meta contact list service seems to
store all of these
groups even though they are not persistent (which should of
course not be the case).
