Hello all,
I have a query related to the SDP parameters in the SIP
message.
The following is the SDP info that is received in the INVITE
message.
m=audio 7143 RTP/AVP 8 98
a=sendrecv
a=rtpmap:98 amr/8000
The a=sendrecv attribute is before the rtpmap description
of the Codec
98. Is it acceptable to receive a SDP in this format? What
should the
receiver of such an SDP do accept it and process or reject
it??
I searched in RFC2327 but there are no specific information
given about
the ordering.
Regards,
jango

Best place to start would be the following draft that lists
the call
flow and example message contents:
http://ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ie
tf-sipping-service-examples-10.t
xt
Then refer the RFC 3515 (REFER method)

And do not forget that REFER is just a component in the
process described in
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/dra
ft-ietf-sipping-cc-transfer-06.txt
