Cancel transaction is handled in a hop-by-hop basis rather
than between 
end devices. A stateful proxy may have created one or more
INVITE 
transactions(due to forking) on the upstream and it may have
to cancel 
more than one transacton based on the incoming cancel
request from the 
endpoint.

Dear SIP Forum members --

After initial distribution of the notice of General Meeting,
two  
additional names surfaced as duly and properly nominated
Director  
candidates.  The nomination of Pat Rudolph from 3Com was
actually  
received before today, and was erroneously omitted from the
first  
ballot.  The nomination of Ranjith Mukandan was received
today, and  
has been accepted as valid since the General Meeting Notice
(and  
ballot) was being re-issued as a result of the error with
Rudolph.

Please use the attached General Meeting notice - marked with
document  
number GA-5-2 - as the correct and valid General Meeting
notice.   
Please note that, because it is being sent today, this
notice remains  
a timely and duly issued notice as per the By Laws.

Sorry for the confusion.  We hope to see you at the meeting.
