Dear members,

Please advice if it's ok to use call-info header like this:

call-info: <sip:12345678abc.com>;purpose=calltransfer

or

call-info: <sip:12345678abc.com>;purpose=callforward

Since RFC3261,page 228 says that "purpose"
parameter may be equal to
generic-parameter/value. I'm considering to use call-info to
bill class
5 calls for our signal-level billing engine. For your advice
& comments
please. Thank you.

Hay Karthikeyan

You can get rid off this problem with alias method....
You can send number of possible name or mail address to the
registrar so
that it can terminate the call to the callee irrespective of
by which name
caller has called ........

Santosh
