Arun,
It depends on the UE implementation. If the UE A will start
sending
Media as soon as it responded with an Ack, but it is up to
UE B to
process that media it received before it gets an Ack. If UE
B decide to
wait until it receive an Ack to send/receive the media then
there will
not be any one way media.

Here is a Scenario , A SIP phone(A) communicates with SIP
phone (B)
across the proxy
(A) INVITE/SDP-----> (B) and
after the 180
ring (B) responds with 200 OK/SDP
by this time (A) and (B) have exchanged the SDP so before
(A) sends an
ACK to (B) will there be a one way media from (A) -- >
(B) ?

Hi Deepanshu,
I have one doubt in your answer. If media session starts
only after 3 way
hand shake, how media will be exchanged in case of early
media. Is it starts
only after PRACK for Reliable Provision response, in case of
early media? So
you are telling one session will be established after 2 way
handshake. But
media can't be exchanged until 3 way handshake completed .

What is your "media"? If it is media session to
exchange media between A and
B then i the answer would be "No". The media
session is establish only after
ACK. A session will be establish after initial INVITE (Which
is called as
early dialog) but that is not used to exchnage media.
