I'm using WeSIP[1] application server for my thesis. If you
are
looking for leveraging your HTTP servlet knowledge, I
strongly
recommend you to use it.

if it's a INVITE transaction, the final response need a ACK.
But if the
other transactions, NO ACK for them.
