Hi all, how can identify a terminal extension selector from an element selector, in the XCAP URI, if it can be anything except '/'; ?

You wouldn't differentiate by BNF. Its a terminal selector
when the
thing you've selected is the last thing in the node
selector, and that
can be an attribute in addition to an element.
