Other methods available:
- SIP-T: only works if the UA/proxy downstream can extract
the
information from the application/isup SDP in the body of
the INVITE
(Search for the "EA" hex optional value of the
IAM).
- GTD (defined in Q.GTD.2 I believe): similar situation
here. The
UA/proxy downstream needs to be smart enough to look for the
application/gtd SDP boundary. This is text based.
I was never able to find any standards document that
described mapping
of the OLI. Perhaps because it is an optional parameter in
the SS7
world. Someone ought to define a way to map this
though...(IPTEL WG?)

Passing the ISUP IAM in the INVITE as in RFC 3398 is a
standard way to
pass through the OLI.
In mapping OLI to SIP itself, many vendors seem to use some
form of
proprietary scheme. As couple of examples, I have dealt with
vendor
-- using the non-standard Remote-Party-ID header in passing
the OLI as
header parameter,
