Understanding draft-jennings-sipping-outbound

Hello!

I have a question regarding understanding of the
draft-jennings-sipping-outbound. There are two special
Contact header
parameters that allow for connection re-use: +sip.instance
and another
one, which is called
a) connection-id in draft-jennings-sipping-outbound-00,
b) flow-id in draft-jennings-sipping-outbound-01 and
c) reg-id in draft-ietf-sipping-nat-scenarios-05

I'd like to know what caused such ambiguity and what names
are
considered obsolete. Thanks in advance!
