[criticalpsychiatry] Re: Therapy Affirms the Status Quo

Hi David,

Thanks for posting that material. It is yet another painful and tragic example
of the forced drugging of citizens for profit, power and social control.

It also affirms that the 'medicalisation' of a person is often for punishment
to enact conformity, rather than 'helping' them in their social functioning.

My granddaughter is forced to take Prozac against her will, while incarcerated
at Grant County Detention Center in Kentucky. She is only 20. She does not want
to take this medication but, when she refuses she is put in what they call the
hole. On one occasion she tried to hide the pill under her tongue and they found
it and put her in the hole and made her take the pill. Told her if she didn't
she would be put in the hole again. She gets very depressed when taking this
medicine. I am very concerned for her but, don't know who to go to for help..

Lucid dreaming combats forced Prozac dosing

Learning and practicing lucid dreaming techniques is one of our most
powerful tools to combat the psychosis-inducing effects of forced &
intermittent SSRI drug dosing.

It may seem counterintuitive to some at times but sleep dreaming
(even some disconcerting dreams) is often good for promoting optimal
physical and mental health.

Learning to "stay in your dreams while sleep dreaming" actually
prevents you from entering a quasi sleep-wake psychotic state while
you are awake.

There are also masks available to wear (which are shine a light when
REM eye movement is detected) which can help novices learn to lucid
dream while asleep.

The psychiatric profession is currently undergoing a scientific
validity crisis and several past APA presidents have resigned in
disgust for the same reason.
