"the more time the Dr has between the time
you ask until they are turned over the more time they have to alter the
records to suit their position. Don't think for one second they won't
make changes!"
Actually, you should count on it.
Just like the movie Farenhight 9-11, I have two copies of what should be the exact same record. But one copy was altered significantly six months after the fact. The second record was requested 12 months after the fact and they still never corrected the pulse rate which was 225, but the registration rep domineered the nurse and other staff so she put 99 on the record, and the urine tox screen shows "still pending". Because it is negative it only proves the harrasment, discrimination, abuse, and psychological assault. I'm not going to type all night about every single detail right now. But I read in the book "The Rights Of Patients" by Goerge J. Annas, that most jury's will construe the altering of records after the fact to be an admission of negligence on the doc/hospitals part.
And these cases are defended by insurance company's, so the compensations never come out of the doc/hospitals pocket directly. And the Lawyers defending the docs/hospital main instrument of defense is the medical record. Which if that is incriminating in itself then they don't have much of a defense. I'm sure that every doctor has a paranoia attack whenever a patient requests medical records.
It was even proven in an experiment done in Boston, that that is exactly what happens. Even if your not a mental patient. It doesn't matter what you went to the hospital for the reaction is the same. Although the mental health industry breaks the llaw on purpose in certain ways as a means to put you in another catch 22.
I walked into the "Advocates" office one day and requested my medical records and the kid working there spewed off a heaping truck load of self incriminating psych paranioa babble. They don't have the legaly required privacy officer working in their health care facility, therefore I am required to attend a meeting with a manager or staff person to "have the records explained to me." So what I did was I brought my friend with me and told them he was my personal advocate/assistant. While things were being "explianed" I noticed that they filled their paper work with imcompetant judgement and flagrant lies. There were even several pages explaining how I was on Zyprexa and how it helped me with my PTSD.
The word PTSD was put in quotation marks, which showed that the nurse was completely retarded when it came to accepting my illness that I've lived with for years. And it is extremely obvious that totaly fishy is going on there. Because I never was prescribed Zyprexa.
So during the whole meeting I didn't point out any of the mistakes or lies that were on it. And actually the whole reason I wanted copy's of my records had nothing to do with them. I wanted my records from them because the town hospital alleges on several records that "Advocates" evaluated me. Yet neither place has any record of them evaluating me on the dates on the hospital record.
And they said I don't answer most questions. And the truth is I answered every single question they ever asked me. It is just more lies to jutify the insane behavior of the registration rep that desriminated against me in the first place and registered me for a psych eval and created pandamonuim by repeatedly makeing extremely egregous allegations loudy for the whole Er to hear her saying that I'm a drug addict because I have the same last name as someone else.
Even when I spoke to the doctor, I made it clear to her that I was suffering from injurys related to being violently assaulted before I came to the hospital.
But the doctor ignored my suffering and lied about the blood testing, urine testing, pusle rate, everything, she wrote down a bunch of mental complaints that had nothing to do with me or why I went to the hospital in the first place. Somehow she section 12d me and there wasn't any way to stop her for falsly imprisoning me. I was sent to another hospital were the staff continuisly verbally and psychologically assaulted me and ignored my injurys again, and I was chemicaly assaulted by being forced to take Risperdal. Now I am completely disabled and suffering for the rest of my life from these hospital people. And the records are themselves incriminating to the hospital and staff. I want to know most of all, exactly how does a lawyer get the names of every staff member in the ER and the mental hospital and bring every single one of them to trial.
I just want to know exactly how it is done. I know every lawyer will just think that there isn't any money in this for them so they won't help me. That is why I can and will do it myself.
