We didn't get around to working on the upgrade to 1.0.3
(from 1.0.1) 
until recently, and I see that you used your own patch,
instead of the 
replacement patch I sent you in the message to which I am
replying 
here.  This is unfortunate, as your patch doesn't even
compile (you 
acknowledged that you hadn't tried), whereas mine works and
has been 
tested successfully.  Would it be possible for you to use my
version of 
the code when 1.0.4 comes out?  Please also apply the
changes to 
makefile_include.msvc from my second attachment as well.

It's not ready yet. We would like to have 1.0.4 released
before the end of this 
year. I will let you know as soon as your changes are in
CVS.
