Hi Kalle, Th anks for the hints. I thought that foreign toolchain might be the way to go, but the emulation part is what I was looking for.
Yes, we do have a toolchain for Blackfin binary generation, but an emulator for it...hmm.. is still a bit struggling. Skyeye promisses to be such, but it is still obscure how it works. We tried to debbug a simple application (e.g. hello world), but it requires the board to do it. So, no emulation what so ever.
The instruction set is a mixture of RISC with Intel MSA (Micro Signal Architecture).
The reason I thought to use sbox if for teaching purposes in ou computer architecture course as don't have macroboards available, so an environment like
scratchbox would suit well.
In case we need emulation would the link you suggested be ebough? If not, any clues??
Many thanks!
