Is there an easy way for a strictly online business to
eliminate
searches for products by city name? In a dream world there
would be a
negative keyword like - where any commonly known
city name
would cause a Broad match phrase to not show.

Do people just make a mega list of cities as negative
keywords?

Why on earth would you want to do this? Most strictly
online
businesses should be targeting local searches, reminding
people that
they don't have to just rely on a local store to buy many
goods and
services. A search for "Atlanta Mortgage" should
be of great interest
to an online-only mortgage outlet like eLoans.com, or a
search for
"Boston Wireless" to an online wireless vendor
like Wirefly.com
Anything that can be bought online and delivered locally is
locally-
relevant! Cheers--

I tend to agree. "Overnegativing" is just a great
way to chase away
business in many cases. Unless the case for the negative is
blindingly
obvious sometimes it's best to cast a wide net and manage
the cost of
the media.
