| Overture keyword advice tool will go
away? |

Hi, I'm in SEO consulting business in Tokyo and recently
heard
Overture Japan will kill Keyword Advice Tool by the end of
June. They
officially announced it a few days ago after most of their
customers
were moved to Panama platform. Many smaller SEMs in Japan
are
screaming... as there is no Wordtracker-equivalent service
for
Japanese language.
Couldn't find a similar move/news in the Western world; has
the same
announced in the U.S.?

I believe the last thing I saw here was Yahoo saying it won't be maintained from this point forward. It still shows January 2007 data and they have no intention to update that data, as I recall.
HTH.

Thanks, Matt, the same was mentioned here in Japan as well.
Did they ever say they stop the service?

I don't recall the specific words about stopping it. I just remember thinking it's going to die a slow death....
