Folks,

On a roll here...

I can't find an answer for Google Adwords help. Is the
following
search term:

www.acme.com

treated the same as:

www acme com (spaces, not periods)

My guess is no, since an organic search using each of these
phrases
generates very different results #s.

I don't think periods and other odd characters are really
"counted" as
characters by AdWords, save perhaps for hyphens. Would be
interesting
to double-check this.

In the keyword tool, google will often recommend

www acme com

and will *never* recommend www.acme.com.

I believe they're treated the same. Or more to the point,
the much
more common query "www.acme.com" looks like
"www acme com" to the
system. I doubt many people are typing www acme com
