Responsibilities Include:
- Perform object oriented analysis and design
- Follow the extreme programming process and practices, to develop wireless client provisioning system in Java
- Employ test driven development
- Effectively communicate with local team members, and remote members (United Kingdom, Singapore)Quickly debug and fix production issues
- Committed to share ownership of code and successful build
- Follow through on refactoring and designs
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Software design and development experience
- Conceptual, object oriented analysis and design experience
- Java programming experience
- Experience with the extreme programming process and practices
- Understanding and application of design patterns and enterprise architecture patterns
- Experience with refactoring
- Experience with test driven development and unit testing using JUnit
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience with overcoming communication barriers
- Experience with Oracle or SQL server, SQL queries, reports, basic relational database design
- Ability to Draw UML diagrams (Class, Activity, Sequence)
- Experience using Ant to support Continuous Integration
- Understanding or experience with J2EE (EJB, Servlet)
- Experience with Eclipse IDE or similar Java IDEs
- An understanding of mobile data formats (WAP, SMS)
- Web application architecture and internet security experience
