• Playing an integral design and development role on the web front-end.
• Providing meaningful direction and guidance for user interface and web technologies.
• Leading or participating in self or team driven user interface R&D projects.
• Leading or participating in Product Management driven user interface projects.
• Mentoring junior team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years related experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical degree (Master's Degree preferred).
• Demonstrated experience architecting, developing and deploying enterprise-grade web applications.
• Extensive understanding of the Java programming language.
• Significant understanding of and experience with Web Services, CSS, HTML, XML, AJAX, SHTML, JavaScript, MVC oriented web development, Java Servlet technology, and the Java EE platform.
• Understanding of and experience with many of the following technologies: Spring Framework, Application Servers, Hibernate, Streaming SML parsing such as STAX or SAX, XSLT, Apache Tomcat, HTML Template Engines, or reporting Frameworks such as Crystal Reports or Jasper Reports is desired.
• Understanding of HCI principles and appropriate design patterns desired.
• Experience with and understanding of Unix-like operating systems (such as Linux) desired.
• Experience with and understanding of backup applications and methodologies desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills desired
