Lead UI Developer
Take this opportunity to guide the
creation of user interfaces enabling data exploration and modeling capabilities
in new Qpass products. Under the auspices of a well-known organization
that serves major network operators world-wide, you will join a small, dynamic
team that enjoys the pace, innovative spirit and creative freedom typically
reserved for a startup, but which operates within a medium-sized,
recently-acquired subsidiary.
The team is led by principals who
founded the subsidiary several years ago, and who continue to serve best
focusing on forward-looking innovation.
This team is tasked with developing
and deploying applications of predictive analytics across various consumer
media, including mobile device user interfaces and beyond. By playing a
central role for a growing list of major consumer media service companies, the
products we create will improve the experience of many millions of network
users worldwide. You’ll work to define an optimal Rich Internet
Application (RIA). Your experience will be instrumental in selecting the
technology for our platform. You will use your skills to iteratively
create a user experience to enable the investigation and elaboration of analytic
models and results; in addition, you will drive selection and creation of
developer and management tools.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
· Iteratively
develop rich internet user applications
· Evaluate and
recommend platform technologies
· Working with
our product management, define optimal user experiences for exploring data in
an analytic model.
· Working in
the scrum team, assure performance and flexible client interfaces across all
components.
· Help the team
apply client technologies in development tools and testing.
· Create
specifications of the user interface for use in testing and documentation of
user interfaces and extensions.
· Participate
in creating the user documentation
· Create user
interface prototypes and mockups
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
· Designing
web-based user interfaces
· Creating
interface specification
· Collaboratively
developing prototypes of interface designs
· Able to work
quickly and independently
· Able to
prioritize critical tasks
· 2+ years
developing with Java or Javascript or
· 2+ years
developing direct manipulation user interface or
· 1+ years
experience with Eclipse

EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED

Degree in Computer Science.
