Sage IT Services is assiting a client in downtown Seattle to locate a
seasoned J2ME, C/++ Software Engineer to go to work as full-time
employee. This is an exciting, well-funded start-up company in
downtown Seattle is seeking an experienced C/C++ - J2ME Software
Engineer. As a C/C++ - J2ME Software Engineer, you will be
responsible for early development of the integrated applications with
various carriers and OEM's. This will involve high level support of
OEM engineers to integrate your API's into the various devices.
Responsibilities:
• Design and development of core applications in C/C++
• Detailed documentation to facilitate OEM integration of our API's.
• OEM integration support of your deliverables.
• Set and maintain high quality standards, working with QA to
continually refine processes and tools to produce better quality
products.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a technical field from or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4 or more years of software development experience in C/C++
Desirable Experience
• C/C++ in the Windows environment (Visual Studio, JNI)
• C/C++ in Mobile Devices
• J2ME development
• Experience with:
o JNI development of Java classes.
o embedded software
o mobile network communications
o software development throughout the lifecycle.
o commercial product deployment a plus
• XML a plus
• Linux OpenEmbedded
• English language skills, spoken and written
• Solid communication skills, ability to attend to detail.
