This position reports to a
Director of Engineering. The incumbent will develop and maintain infrastructure
in the data center supporting core products. This infrastructure requires an
active involvement with the development cycle as well as the development team to
build critical systems, and effectively utilize data management tools.
The infrastructure developed will help improve reliability, recovery and
consistency across the client's data center.
Requires:
·
4-6 years
of experience in System Administration, implementing, maintaining and supporting
complex enterprise UNIX/LINUX and related applications.
·
Experience in design, implementation
and troubleshooting of heterogeneous LANs/WANs.
·
Experience working with all aspects
of in-house development as well as production systems, developing and supporting
application in open source environment like Perl, PHP, C, C++ Shell scripting,
Java, and HTML.
·
Installing configuring and
maintaining websites on Apache web server, TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, NIS, Naming
Service, Samba along with hands-on experience in configuring, tuning and
supporting MySQL.

BS in
Computer Science or equivalent
