UI Framework Developer
Our client is launching the next phase of the company's growth and is
in the process of hiring a Web Application Developer/UI Expert to help
them build their next generation user interface for their Suite of
products. The Web Application Developer will be responsible for
building User Interface which sets the industry standard in their space.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design and implement a web-based UI for their next generation Suite
- Define multi-tenant customization model for configurable and
customization user interfaces
- Develop cutting-edge interactive web applications
- Code beautiful XHTML/CSS web pages and interfaces
- Understand and apply the latest Java web application frameworks
- Write architecture, functional and design specification documents
- Perform code and design reviews
- Investigate new technologies
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years experience developing web-based UIs with JAVA/J2EE in a
structured setting
- Experience delivering data-driven, customizable application interfaces
- Experience working with one or more web application frameworks:
SEAM, Struts, JSF, MyFaces, Spring Webflow, WebWork, Tapestry
- Experience with Web 2.0 User Interfaces; W3C, WASP standards, AJAX,
OO Javascript, tableless CSS, XHTML
- Experience with human factors and graphic design desirable but not
required
- Solid understanding of browser compatibility issues
- Experience with design patterns and distributed systems
- Experience with enterprise class packaged software
- A high degree of self-motivation and flexibility with the ability to
organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- The ability to interact creatively and achieve results in a
fast-moving, dynamic small company environment
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required, M.S. desirable
