Hi rene
hope you are fine.
any wany i read your problem. but its not clear
so i will give some solutions. execute one by one. if not work mail i will prefer another
1. first check your cable connection is working or noit. may be your cable not crimped properly.
2. make sure you entered the DNS number and gate way in yoiur 98 PC. The DNS number you can Get with your ISP(Internet Service Provider).
3. in XP no need to enter DNS number. it will take automatically but in 98 you should enter DNS and host domain controll name.
host is Prefix of your email whic is provided from your ISP
domain is suffix name from your email.

router( Trendnet), The Win XP is already connected through the
Internet but I have a problem connecting through a Win 98 PC. I had

PC. I had just check the device Manager and my Dlink 530TX Adafter is
working properly. Can somebody please help me in connecting the
Internet from one computer to another or what they call computer
