I burned 10 WAV files to a cd-r using Roxio dataCD project, but

it did not play on the cd player.  They totalled 648mb. 

However, burning the same files using musicCD project, I had over 100mb 

and about 6min left, and it played in the cd player. 

How did that happen if the number and total file size didnt change? 



Would I sacrifice audio quality (whether or not noticeable)

by burning MP3 files?
