linux puppy-burn to cd

hi,i did get the cd burnt using majic iso.when i put it in the cd
player all i get is the files on the cd.any help to make it boot.
compaq comp,1 g ram,winxp sp2.

I'm going to assume you did a restart after loading
the CD. Just checking. There is the possibility that
the burn didn't take correctly. The Puppy site
recommends "BurnCDCC" and provides a link to it.
That's what I used and it worked perfectly.

Use Deepburner. It can produce the bootable cd from the Puppy iso file.
You can download the free version.
Otherwise you can also download and use CDBurnerXP pro 3- a very good
burner program. Use google to search their locations.
