Nooo, it's one of those big black GateWay monitor .
And I did have it tested not to long ago. And was told
it worked just fine. And it is rather new too.

It has to be something else. With window sizing - or
something. And it don't help with me not knowing XP!

itself. I assume it is a LCD flat panel, in which case the lines mean
something has gone wrong with the circuitry inside the panel that
controls those particular rows of pixels and they are no longer being
turned on and off according the the video they are supposed to
displayl You will not be able to fix this problem and the panel will
have to be replaced.

Oh, Ok. Its a big CRT monitor. Is the brightness up too high or are
you able to bring it back down ok.?
