I have recently started using the free version of Comodo as the Webroot Firewall which I had been using was becoming too intrusive and cumbersome.Comodo is an easy installation and is fairly straightforward to use. It will ask the user questions on a fairly continous basis and to click on appropriate answers, so make sure and read its instructions.
As for the questions - that's the reason you have a firewall - to protect you from things that you don't want or at least give you a choice if you want them or not.I too have simply said no to the Windows firewall.
