Since I've tried that and did not see other HD I will have to say
that isn't the solution but thanks. I do believe it has something to
do with system setting up a logical disk, I think what I am trying to
do is revert back to the dynamic disks but don't know how.

What do you mean by 'dynamic disks'?
If your disk is properly installed it should show up in My Computer. On the
other hand, it could shouw up in the bios but not in My Computer. Is the
second disk jumpered as a slave? Drives that are ncorectly jumpered can show
up in a variety of ways. Or not show up in anything but the bios.
